  • How many times should I post a month?


    The "optimal" posting schedule is the one you can actually sustain without burning out. If posting every day stresses you out, don't do it. It’s better to post twice a week for two years than every day for two months and then quit. 

    Find your balance  of what you love and what works, and stay there.

  • Should I bother using hashtags now?

    Absolutely

  • Should I post Reels, carousels, or photos?

    All three! 

    Each type of content works differently, so using a mix helps you reach and connect with a wider audience.


    ❥ Reels – Great for getting discovered by new people. They appear in Explore and suggested feeds, so they’re perfect if you want to grow your audience quickly. Focus on creating Reels that are fun, helpful, or spark curiosity.


    ❥ Carousels – Ideal for sharing tips, tutorials, or storytelling. They encourage saves and shares, which tells Instagram your content is valuable. Carousels help you educate your audience and build credibility.


    ❥ Photos – Photos are perfect for connecting on a personal level and showcasing your brand vibe. High-quality, branded photos help people recognise you and feel more connected.


    Tip: Try a mix over the month: Reels for reach, carousels for education, and photos for brand connection. Track what performs best and tweak as you go.

  • Does my page need to look aesthetic/pretty?

    No. 

    While it looks high-end, every post is engineered for Watch Time and Niche Clarity. I'll prioritise content that gets saved and shared. 2026 is about polished, not perfect. Show up as your authentic self. You don't need to hire a professional photographer to post on Insta.

  • How long should Reels be, and how do I grab attention?

    Short, sharp, and scroll-stopping is the key.  Attention spam is SHORT!


    Right now, under 18 seconds is ideal for most Reels.


    The first 1–2 seconds are critical:


    ❥ Grab attention visually (movement, props, or a bold on-screen caption).


    ❥ Spark curiosity with a hook (problem, question, or unexpected fact).


    ❥ Make it obvious what viewers will gain if they keep watching.


     Tip: Don’t overcomplicate your Reels. Clear, concise, and engaging content wins over long, confusing videos. And always add captions—most people watch without sound!


  • Are giveaways good for growth?

    They can help but only if used strategically.



    ❥ Works best when the prize is relevant to your audience (something they actually want).


    ❥ Encourage actions that support your goals: following, signing up, booking, or joining your email list.


    ❥ Avoid generic “tag everyone” giveaways they bring followers who won’t engage long-term.


    Reality: 

    You will loose followers for up to a month after a giveaway as they were are following to enter :-( 

  • Do I need highlight buttons and if so, how many?

    Yes- Ideally not more than 6!


    They are a fast way for people to find more about you and should replicate info on your website. 


    You want to make it easy for anyone to find this info

    Set a diary reminder to update them every 3 months. 

  • Why isn’t anyone engaging anymore?

    Remember: it’s not just about likes, saves, shares, and messages count as engagement too!



  • Do post/schedule for me?

  • How soon until I'd see results from working wit you?

    Social media is a "trust build," not a light switch. Typically, clients see the "Chain of Trust" strengthen within 30-60 days. That why monthly clients sign 4 month contracts to see steady growth.

  • Do I need a big budget?

    I work with everyone  from new set-ups to established brands. I’ll find the link in your marketing chain that requires the most help first and will have the biggest impact - from new/updated highlight buttons to creating reels to SEO words in captions.

  • Should I always use Trending Audio for Reels?

    I recommend a 70/30 split:


    70% Strategic Trends: 

    Use trending audio that actually fits your niche. If you’re a professional consultant, a goofy "cat-meme" sound might feel out of place, but a trending lo-fi beat for a "Day in the Life" video is perfect.


    30% Original Content: 

    Use your own voice, record a unique voiceover, or pick a song that simply matches the mood regardless of whether it's "trending."
